The Langtang Valley Trekking is the nearest Himalayan Region from Kathmandu Valley, and a few hours' drives from Kathmandu take you to the beautiful Langtang Region. Even though the Langtang Region is very close to Kathmandu, it is as wild as any Tibetan highland with an idyllic rural landscape. The people of the highlands in the Langtang region are undoubtedly Nepalese; however, being a descendant of the Tibetan origin, they look like the Tibetans. Hence, the Langtang region is one of the most popular trekking regions for those wishing to go on a short trek from Kathmandu into the Himalayas influenced by Tibetan lifestyles. Accompanying it, the varieties of rhododendron, bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, and snow-capped Himalayas make the trek one of the most varied treks around Kathmandu.

Despite the massive earthquake that hit Nepal in April 2015, which destroyed this region, people are brave enough to conserve their culture and life style. Now they have completely renovated what was destroyed. However, the Avalanche landmark is still there.

The 11 Days Langtang Valley Trek begins with a day's drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We start the walking from Syabrubesi. We go uphill to Lama Hotel and Langtang village till we reach to the well-known Kanyanjing Gompa. After the exploration of the region, we trek the same route to Syabrubesi from where we drive to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Airport pick-up and transfer to hotel

One of Adventure Pilgrims Trekking's  respondent will pick you from airport and transfer to hotel. Introduction about Nepal and the experienced trekking guide and short briefing about your trekking trip from the guide.In the evening, you'll have free or optional Nepalese Cultural Program with dinner.
 

Day 02 : Gear check up and rest day

Before we start our great trip to Everest Base Camp the guide will check your trekking gears and let you know about  necessary items that you don't have. Hike around Thamel  or optional City Tour in Kathmandu, Nepal

Day 03 : Drive to Syabrubesi ( 1,550m/5,100ft ) 145 km/ 7 hrs
After morning breakfast we drive out along the north-western hills of Kathmandu. Enjoy the Himlayan views and mountainous lifestyle through the terraced fields and rustic villages. Take Lunch at the Trishuli Bazar before continuing further to Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descent down to Syabrubesi. stay overnight.

Day 04 : Trek to Lama Hotel ( 2,380m/7,830ft ) 6 hrs
This is our first day of trekking today. Follow the Langtang Khola River. Pass through the dense forests. Cross several suspension bridges. We also pass by a tea houses. The trail goes up and down but it's not that challenging. stay overnight.

Day 05 : Trek to Langtang village ( 3,430m/11,253ft ) 5/6 hr
After taking morning tea, we embark our second day of the journey. Our trail continues along dense forests. After making a steady climb up through the valley, we leave the tree line behind us. Enjoy the marvelous views of Langtang Lirung. Pass by water mills, prayer wheels, Chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them.Stay overnight.

Day 06 : Trek to Kyanjin Gompa ( 3,870m/12,697ft ) 3-1/2 hr
After taking morning tea and breakfast, we get out of the village and pass on through yak pastures. Also pass the largest Mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. The prayers written on the Mani wall is supposed to be blown away by the wind. Cross several of the wooden bridges. Since, we are really getting into the high altitudes, you might start feeling the thin air.  Kanjin Gompa is surrounded by the Himalayas all around. You can take a walk around Kanjin Gompa enjoying the views, glaciers, Icefalls, birds, yaks and yak cheese factory. Stay overnight.

Day 07 : Visit to Tserko Ri  (4600Mt) or Kyanjin Ri (4900mt) takes about 4/5 hour 

 Early morning Before sunrise prapare with breakfast and pack lunch for the day to explore to Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri .Mostly the trail is ascending for both to the top for sunrise and magnificent views of Langtang valley mountain with Tibetan valley mountain . It takes about 4/5 hours day trip .One of the fabulous and Maestic spectecular views  for whole trip  of the langtang valley trek .This excurtion is very important for Langtang valley trek lover .If time still is left in the late afternoon we will try to explore another direction for blue lake Chhona Lake visit near next to the river bank valley in Kyanjin.stay over night .  
 

Day 08 :Trek back to Lama Hotel 5/6 hrs 

After breakfast, proceed to Lama Hotel. Since, its mostly downhill, it is 4/ 5 hours walk from Kanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel. The trail goes all the way down hill through forest following the river. Pass through the ethnic Tamang settlements who follow religious and cultural practices similar to the Tibetans.Stay overnight.

Day 09 : Trek back to Syabrubesi 5 hrs 

After breakfast, we trek down to Syabrubensi, about 5 hours walk. as we started the trek on the day first ascending to Lama hotel but today you will descending via Bamboo to Syabru besi , Enjoy the easy trail mostly downhill through lush green vegetation. Arriving Syabrubesi, we take our lunch. Stay overnight.

Day 10 : Transfer to KTM takes About 5 hours drive.
After breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu. Arriving Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel. Spend the day leisurely or catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any sights you missed during your first day in Kathmandu. 

Day 11 :Departure to International airport
We are saying good bye to the mountains as journey in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organize the photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight a representative from Adventure Pilgrims Trekking will take you to the airport. or you can join us to our other activities like White Water River Rafting, Jungle Safari, Annapurna Region Trekking, Nepal Tour and many more.
