“Govinda and his team made my Nepal trip simply unforgettable”
My trip to Nepal had a lot of moving pieces, between accommodations in Kathmandu, sight seeing, flights to and from Pohkara, guides, vehicles etc. Govinda and his team handled it all flawlessly. They were flexible, friendly and extremely easy to work with. I have nothing but good things to say about working with Adventure Pilgrim Trekking and I look forward to working with them again for my next visit to Nepal.

Govinda and his family have years of experience in the tourism industry in Nepal. They understand every aspect of an adventure and make sure that your experience is smooth and easy. At one point during my trip, my travel plans changed and I needed a last minute flight from Pohkara to Kathmandu. Govinda not only made sure that I was on a flight the next morning, but that I was also booked with other people I was traveling with. I'm not sure how he did this considering the flight was sold out, but it was great.

The team at Adventure Pilgrims Trekking is extremely friendly, hospitable and fun. They can show you whatever you want to see from tourist sites to hidden delicious snacks. Make sure to eat a King Curd if you're in Kathmandu. I even had the chance to spend evening with Govinda and his family. They cooked amazing food and I spent the evening enjoying beers and hearing stories about adventures in the mountains.

“Professional, experienced and caring”
As a single woman trekking solo to base camp Mt Everest I was a little apprehensive embarking on my trip. My concerns disappeared as soon as I arrived at Kathmandu airport. From start to finish I was looked after with 5 star treatment. My guide Krishna was awesome. He took care of all my needs including changing flights to capitalise on the weather, advice on avoiding altitude sickness, the best food to eat, background info on Nepalese culture and the majestic mountains.

My home stay with Govinda and his wife Sarita was so special. Sarita was so hospital and made me feel very welcome. Even the neighbours were fantastic - very friendly. I finished my trek on a high feeling totally energised and nourished. I loved this holiday. Thank you to my guide Krishna, my porter Raj and Govinda's family. My heart and head is swollen with incredible memories.

“Great Trip with Great Company”
Govinda's team arranged a wonderful trip for my son and I. We had a wonderful Homestay at his house and his brother, Krishna, was a wonderful guide both in Kathmandu and during our Trek in the Annapurna region. They were extremely attentive to our needs and made our trip the father/son experience I was hoping for. I would strongly recommend their services.

“Govinda is a great resource for your Nepal adventure”
Govinda and his team were fantastic resources and guides during a 2 week trip in Nepal. They helped us with the logistics of our travel, sightseeing, hiking trips, and accommodations during our stay in Nepal. While in country, they were just a phone call away if our needs or desires changed. When the last few days of my trip needed to change, Govinda and his team were right there to help me with last minute needs. I felt they had my back, and I could count on them to handle all the details. When I plan to return, my first call will be to Govinda and Adventure Pilgrims Trekking.

“Best 21st birthday i could of asked for”
Nepal 2011

I travelled to Nepal to study conservation of endangered species, The relationship between people and the environment and culture with my university group. I had a week before and after the trip with the university which Me and my four friends choose to travel with Panta and his guides as they were recommended to us by a good friend. Panta, Krishna and Govinda made it an unforgettable experience, they organised a small party in Nargakot for my birthday along with some drinks, gifts and some singing provided by Panta himself . it was more than I could of asked for and a awesome night to wake up in the morning and see the view of all the Himalaya's. The driver we had was wonderful and extremely courteous, we saw many temples, went paragliding ,rafting and got to experience lots of the culture, Dal Bhat and stayed at some very nice hotels.

“A new home awaits the weary traveler”
Never having visited Asia, let alone while working, we were completely unaware of what to expect.

We started our trip with 3 nights in Kathmandu before heading to Pokhara and the surrounding countryside. Instead of staying at a hotel or tea house, we decided to stay with Govinda and his family about 15 minutes outside of downtown Kathmandu - and we couldn't have been happier. He warmly opened his home to us, provided comforts without our asking and serving us breakfast and dinner daily, cooked by his loving wife.

His team took us around the major sites in Kathmandu and the immediate area. They were incredibly friendly and understanding that our visit was primarily business related (documentary film) forcing us to keep on a tight budget and schedule. Nevertheless, their kindness and desire to share the Nepalese culture with us made our time incredible rewarding. Although he could have shown us more of the country, our business took us elsewhere and we would return to Govinda upon completion, before departing to the US.

Govinda was our "fixer." Any requests, concerns, or problems to solve - he made it happen. His contacts are strong, his team of drivers and guides are professional and courteous. He assisted with our travel out of Kathmandu and was always available if we had a hiccup in our schedule or plans.

I look forward to returning to Nepal without the pressures of work and, without a doubt, will call Govinda yet again!

“Awesome Experince”
I would give Pilgrim the highest recommendation. Main reasons are Govinda’s experience. Govinda clearly knows what he is doing and has been doing it very well for along time. All details and associated coordination were always well attended to. The next reason is his judgment. He knows his clientele well and has the ability to access what will make the best experience based on your skill and what you want to do. His support team is also very experienced. Lastly Govinda and his support team are just great guys- you really enjoy hanging out with them. Food is always awesome. -Whether you are touring temples in Kathmandu or trekking trough small villages.

Thumbs up. Awesome- Pilgrim is very well run organization. Wish everything in my life went so smoothly.

“Customer Friendly Organisation”
It was by recommendation that I engaged "Pilgrims" and with no regrets whatsoever. We were met at the airport by Govinda, the managing Director. He took us to our hotel and the next day we discussed our trekking plans in detail. Most importantly we met our guide and porter for our extended trek of 3 - 4 weeks. Both spoke English and our guide very good English. And I must add that by the end of our trek we had become good friends to the extent that both invited us to visit and stay with family in their respective villages.

Being a member of the trekking association of Nepal, Pilgrim's guides and porters work under the required pay and conditions.
This was my 5th visit to Nepal, previously having trekked independently. With a guide / porter I found the quality of our experience greatly enhanced, due to their experience and local knowledge. We were able to access areas away from most tourists when it suited us. I should add that our trek was in the Langtang - Gosainkunda - Helumbu regions. Our guide ensured food and drink were of good quality in the lodges we stayed at and we remained healthy all through our trek.

I have a friend who began a camping trek with a budget company a few years back only to become ill on his 2nd day due to poor kitchen hygiene. He was unable to continue and considering the expense and time involved in organizing such a holiday it was most disappointing.

"Pilgrims" is a long established, ethical and reliable company that I can recommend without any hesitation.

“excellent,friendly and well organised”
My first visit to Nepal...I found these guys on the net,had never met them and being my first trip to Nepal I was a little nervous. I sent an email which was responded to very quickly and after a couple more emails this was followed up with a personnel call from Govinda. He was confident on organising my collection from the airport, transfer to hotel Karma in Kathmandu, guided sightseeing in Kathmandu, his business partner escorted me to the bus for my trip to Chitwan. I was met in Chitwan and escorted to the Parkland hotel for the 4 day 3 night jungle trip which was a fantastic experience, I travelled back with Govinda to Kathmandu for my last night in Nepal. The whole trip was perfectly organised the staff and people were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I will use and recommend this organisation to anyone and everyone.
